Dear Friends,
I hope each of your summer’s is starting off wonderfully!! I miss each and everyone of you and am praying for you constantly!
First, I wanted to thank each of you for being so enthusiastic in your support of me to go to Scotland. It was such a blessing to see God’s grace and provision through your support. So I thank each of you for your support either through prayers and/or a financial gift.
With that said, I am writing to let you know that after much prayer and consideration, I will NOT be going to Scotland this summer. I would still love to have the opportunity to serve there at another point, however the Lord has made it clear to me that it would not be wise of me to go at this time. What it seems like the Lord has planned for me this summer instead is dealing with some health issues, doctor's appt., adjusting to new medication and just taking the time to take care of my body. The Lord has already opened up some really neat opportunities including, loads of babysitting, helping to lead worship for the youth group at my church, developing my relationship with my little sister, and growing closer to the Lord. I also will be taking the time to really prepare myself for being an RA next year, by planning, spending time in the word, spending time in prayer for myself and each of the girls and my friends. My Father has called me to be a wise steward of the things He has placed in my life, and so to do that whole-heartedly means saying no to Scotland!
I would love for each of you to let me know how I can be praying for you this summer and I would also love to hear of your adventures so that I can delight in them with you!
Yet again, I thank each of you for your willingness to support me, and more importantly support the Lord and the spreading of His Kingdom. Each of you are a beautiful piece of Christ to me, thank you!
Let us continue to be sweet aromas of the Lord no matter where we are!
